About Me

My name is Bryton Cummings, I grew up in Texas surrounded by dogs and I have always known that I wanted to build my life around them. My passion is to improve the relationship between the trainer, owner, and animal. I think that training a dog should be enjoyable for both the family and the pet. I center my training on high value praise because I think dogs should listen with or without treats. We offer treat training according to family preferences and the dogs needs.

Every dog, from the mighty Mastiff to the playful Pug, has thousands of years of selective breeding behind every move they make. My job is to help curb any unsavory habits that your dog may have, some things aren’t as simple as teaching a no command, some things require compromise.

I have a Husky who absolutely loves to run and dig, and used to get out daily despite all efforts, you could not get this dog to stop digging. That’s his nature as a husky, they’re meant pull twice their weight for miles in freezing temperatures and at the end of a long day they’d dig down into the snow and sleep. So we compromised with him we game him an area that he COULD dig at and upped his working time. I taught him and another dog of mine a command to runaround the yard. Every time we go outside they wait for their command with baited breaths then take off running until they can’t anymore, they love it, and it curbs that energy until next time. Working breeds like the husky have a mountain of energy that they have to burn through so sometimes we have to get creative with how we burn their energy.
